Terms in accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for online distance selling to consumers.
1. Introduction and Scope
These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases of framed and unframed art prints made via jeremycglover.com (the "Website").
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are purchasing as a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory legal rights under UK consumer law.
2. Product Descriptions, Framing, and Accuracy
Visual Representation: Every effort is made to display colors and print textures accurately. However, because digital screens vary, the physical print may differ slightly in tone or contrast from the online preview.
Unframed Prints: Unframed prints are delivered rolled in protective tubes or in flat, board-backed packaging, depending on dimensions. Dimensions specified online refer to the paper size inclusive of any borders.
Framed Prints: Framed prints are assembled to order using the specifications chosen at checkout (e.g., frame material, glazing, mount options). Framed items are significantly heavier, bulkier, and more fragile; please handle them with care upon arrival.
3. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
All prices are stated in Pound Sterling (GBP).
Prices exclude delivery charges, which are calculated and displayed at checkout.
Payment must be made in full at checkout via Stripe / PayPal / Credit Card etc. Orders will not be processed or dispatched until funds clear.
4. Shipping, Delivery, and Import Duties
Processing & Printing Times: Because prints (especially framed variants) may be produced or framed to order, please allow 3 to 7 working days for production before dispatch.
UK Delivery: Deliveries within the UK are sent via tracked courier services. Delivery timelines provided at checkout are estimates only.
International Shipping: For deliveries outside the UK, the recipient is the importer of record and is solely responsible for all local customs duties, import VAT, and clearance fees levied by the destination country.
5. Right to Cancel and Returns (UK Consumer Rights)
Standard Returns (14-Day Cooling-off Period): In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving the items, without giving a reason.
Return Conditions: To receive a full refund, items must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging. Unframed prints must not have been unrolled or handled carelessly. Framed prints must be packed securely using the original protective corners and outer boxes.
Return Shipping Costs: The Buyer is responsible for paying return postage costs unless the item is faulty or damaged upon arrival. We highly recommend using a tracked, insured service, as we cannot refund items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
6. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a legal right to a rejection, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Transit Damage: Glass/acrylic glazing and frames are fragile. If your package arrives visibly broken or damaged, you must report it to us at hello@jeremycglover.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear digital photographic evidence of both the outer packaging and the broken item.
7. Intellectual Property and Copyright
The purchase of a framed or unframed art print grants the Buyer a physical asset for personal display only.
The Artist retains 100% of the copyright and all intellectual property rights to the underlying artwork. You may not scan, copy, replicate, resell for commercial profit, or use the imagery for AI model training or digital reproduction without an explicit commercial license agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any losses arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be strictly limited to the total purchase price of the items ordered.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Sale and any disputes arising from them are governed by English law.
Any legal proceedings must be brought before the courts of England and Wales.
