to fill avoid
Observing the quiet tensions between our inherent human desire for community and the equally instinctive resistance to spatial confinement. The title is a play on words, phonetically echoing our impulse to fill a void through connection, while visually hinting at our desire to avoid those structures that partition us.
Elevating our interpretation of everyday urban spaces through deliberate composition and geometry, the project traces the subtle undercurrents of solitude weaving through London’s streets, exploring the delicate boundaries of modern proximity, leaving spaces intentionally unanswered so the viewer might find their own meaning within or without.
